Brief career background: My background in IT and Software Engineering has led me down paths of academia, project management, and network, telecommunications and environmental engineering. I have worked both nationally and internationally, in Australia for the Kent Institute of Business and Information Technology and TransGrid, in Thailand for DTAC and the Tai Wisdom Association, and in the USA as part of a United Nations Development Program. I am an accredited member of the MIAA UCCC and have a Masters in Engineering Management.

Biggest challenge for brokers and advice to overcome: The competitive brokerage market means that brokers will have to work harder to process the same number of loans. Realise the importance of networking. It is a fundamental source of leads, yet rarely utilized to maximum capacity.
Biggest challenge for lenders: The rising prevalence of mortgage fraud, particularly in relation to identity, banking and valuations.
Best sales tip: Maintain and validate the channels of communication with all clients old, existing and new.
